We are so excited you our interest in joining our cast as a lead!!

Audition are in August and Rehearsals will run September-December. The lead fee will be $75 dollars a month (charged September, October, November, and December or all in one lump sum your choice) and that includes all rehearsal hours and participation in Winter Showcase. Leads have more rehearsal time and on stage for the longest amount of time.

Those that just wish to be in the ensemble should sign up for our musical theatre classes on Saturdays with Miss Mary.

Dancers will be required to purchase the winter showcase costume package (price TBA) if in the ensemble only.

My child is under 5 can they participate?

YES!! ages 3-5 have a very special part and only need to sign up for Saturday's Little Lime Light Class ( at 8:45) and there is no lead fee just the regular class and Winter Showcase registration.

My child has never been in a show can they try out?

YES! We love students of all experience levels and abilities! Everyone is encouraged to sign up.

Do you take Charter Funds?

Yes, we have many homeschooling families in a variety of our programs and are already an approved vendor with most of the local charters!

How do you cast?

The hardest part of directing a show is casting, because there is no way and I can give everyone their first choice role. During auditions everyone will get scores on dancing, singing, acting, and we take notes as to which leads we think with fit. We try our best to give everyone a part they want, but it isn't always possible, however if you audition we will give you a part. All students will be notified privately and have 1 week to accept the role before the cast is published. It's important to remember that we have parts of various sizes and that's what makes the show so much fun. If everyone was the same character the show would be really boring!

What is the best way to prepare for the audition?

If you are not currently in a Musical Theatre class get signed up!!!

Musical Theatre 3 is working on songs from Mean Girls

Musical theatre 2 is working on songs from Disney Musicals!

Book a private ( alone or with a couple of friends) to go over rep from the musical.

It's highly recomended to learn 30 seconds of a song from suessical for your audition.
